La Marcha de la Puebla

La Cultura Del Mundo x VSF presents: La Marcha De La Puebla \ Heroes Not Villains

Protesting on August 1st, the community unites to show all of America that "America's" people are marching in solidarity with the immigrants that truly keep the United States working. The goal of this protest is to demonstrate support for immigrants who are being tormented by our current administration. Our march will show the administration and the people of America that immigrants are heroes in our communities and not villains like the media makes them out to be. Our culture is deeply rooted in America's history, and we are not leaving or going to be thrown out. Our county must come together to show all targeted minorities that they are not alone.

Currently we have at least 10 states across the United States that will be protesting alongside us on August first. We are dedicated to getting all 50 states to come together in support of immigrants/ the indigenous communities across the United States.

This movement is being led by youth, La Cultura Del Mundo was founded by Cesar Vasquez his freshman year (2023) and has served over 500 youth with different teams across the Central Coast ranging from middle schoolers to college students. Over the past 2 years we have managed over $13,000 of grant funding.

We are asking for support to bring this movement forward and to the front lines. We are in need of resources, financial support, and support from different communities across the United States.

Our funding will go to:

  • Workshops to educate youth on how to organize/allowing youth to continue work

  • Giving back to immigrant communities through direct services/mutual aid

  • Providing resources to make this march/protest as safe and large as possible

  • Online Management (Marketing-Website)

If you'd like to support/donate, please reach out to

Labor Demands Families First!

On July 26, Americans in every corner of the country will come together in peaceful marches, rallies, and actions to say: our families come first—not billionaires, not authoritarians, and not corrupt politicians.

From rural towns to major cities, Families First actions will bring people together to collectively demand an end to policies that harm children, seniors, and our families. We reject the Administration's actions that have gutted essential programs like Medicaid, FEMA, food stamps, school lunches, and more, all so a handful of billionaires can get tax giveaways.

We are coming together to say in unity: our families come first.

A core principle behind all Families First events is a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values and to act lawfully at these events. Weapons of any kind, including those legally permitted, should not be brought to events.

Legal Observer Training

Legal Observers are volunteers trained by the National Lawyers Guild who attend protests, marches or other actions to:

  • Monitor, observe, and document government conduct against First Amendment-protected activity,

  • Provide arrest support for protesters on the ground and help support teams track and help arrested folks, and

  • Empower activists and serve as a deterrent to unconstitutional behavior by law enforcement.

Legal Observers are often legal workers, law students, and lawyers, but anyone who is able to perform the duties and uphold the values of the National Lawyers Guild can be a Legal Observer, including organizers, activists, and community members.

To become a Legal Observer, you will need to complete an application which must be received one week prior to the training (no walk-ins). Contact nlglocc@proton.me for an application form.
