Hello Friends,

This Saturday (5/10), at 3:00, let’s hang a banner for an hour, and afterward, (if we have enough folks), follow up with a meeting at Santa Rosa Park to plan future banner actions.  Come if you can, and it will be great to hear your ideas about where we should take this project next.  Perhaps adopt a schedule for instance?

On Saturday we’ll go back to the overpass at the Highway 101 Monterey Street exit in SLO, and park on Loomis Street on the north side and above Highway 101.  More detailed directions are below.  Please bring flags and signs if you have them.  We’ll use the “Protest is patriotic. Join Us!” banner.  And we can change to another message the following time, if participants decide it’s time to switch.

It could be warm.  They are predicting 80’s temps that day.  On the overpass there is often a breeze.  Dressing in layers, hat, water and sunscreen are always good.  Safety first!
