Volunteer Today to Support the Passage of Prop 50!
You can help make a difference today. In a few short weeks, California voters have the opportunity to show the rest of the country – and the world – how the power of democracy can defeat a deranged tyrant.
Proposition 50, the Election Rigging Response Act, on the ballot in a special election on Tuesday, Nov. 4 – asks us to vote on a straightforward question: Do we choose democracy, or do we acquiesce to Trump’s attempted dictatorship?
You can get involved today (see section below). We’re looking for people to engage in:
Canvassing (directly engage with voters);
Phone banking (call voters, spread the message and get them to vote);
Join our communications team and event planning efforts;
Volunteer in our office headquarters.
Are you registered to vote?
The San Luis Obispo County Democratic Party is working diligently to prepare for the Nov. 4, 2025 special election date and the 2026 midterm elections. It is critical that Democrats show up to these elections in large numbers. Make sure you, your family and friends have voting registration up to date!
